Fit is small

I ordered a size 12 and I'm a small 12, I can't fasten it up as the cut of the jacket is boxy and the hop measures the same as the armpit to armpit, in other words around 34/35" , my hip measurement is 38.5". Packets are small , difficult to get your hands in. I would definitely advise to size up
