Light Kit Poor Fit

I purchased two AE2 fans at the Dwell design show in 2014 and liked them. At that time they were good value as I paid 1/2 the price. Recently I purchased another, but this time with a light kit. The assembled unit looks extremely cheap because the light hub lower panel does not align with the fan blades. The light panel design is not great because it only affixes with two screws that are ill positioned. The position should have been closer to the fan blade so that tightening the screws would bring the cover into alignment with the blades. At $500 (on sale) the AE2 is not great value. It simply looks cheap/bad.

Recently our minka aire fan in the bedroom bit the dust so we researched for the quietest fan and the Aeratron fan kept coming up. We took a chance and purchased one fan and have recently purchased 3 more for the other bedrooms. Love them now and we’ll see how they work next summer.

Fantastic fan

Easy to install, looks incredible and is extremely quiet, just gentle breezes while we sleep!!!! Worth every penny!!!!
