I ordered two bird bath tops to replace one that was broken into pieces and the other that had a good sized chip. I ordered the "seconds" to save a few dollars and was pleasantly surprised to find that you offered "free shipping" for on-line orders. Both arrived in perfect condition and frankly, I don't see what makes them "seconds" - they look perfect to me. They've been filled with water and on the bases for a week now and one blue jay is the only bird to approach either one so far. I'm sure they're just being cautious about something new to them.

A beautiful piece of history

I got one of the last of the season glazed white birdbaths. It is so easy to take care of and the animals just love it. I am going to buy another one next year or update my pedestal. This is a historic Ohio company that is still making quality pottery and I for one am grateful that they are still doing things the old fashioned way. If you take care of your birdbath and not let it freeze it should last for a long time. It is a worthwhile investment, and is a handmade piece of garden art!
