Light Kit for The Globe 21332

Not the best kit

Sadly, one of my component wires was badly sold it I had to fix it. The instructions don’t make it clear that there are both green and white lights for the landmasses and sea areas so I had to change these later. The starter locate your home only works if you can place it between four adjacent studs with restricts locations. It’s also not clear that you can place anywhere other than the sea off India from the instructions.

Can be a bit fiddly at times, but patience and you get some great results

Im technically a novice when it comes to adding light kits and this is my second one enhancing the Lego Globe that I got for Christmas ... and the results are just stunning. Yes, because the Globe can be a bit fiddly to handle due to its weight and size, just have patience. The instructions are very clear and you just need to follow them, look at the pictures carefully and you will have no issues. It will take a bit of time, but then, the result is definitely worth it. Game of Bricks is certainly competitive in terms of price but also in quality of the goods and the instructions to get things fitted. You are in good hands with them and this kit. Highly recommended and I look forward to getting teh Lighthouse lighting kit once I have managed to purchase the lighthouse Lego set.

Lovely addition to the globe

The globe has been a conversation piece in my home office. Now it's even better. The wires are easy to hide, but the manual misses one obvious way to hide the wires. The wires coming from the nameplate can be easily hidden under some bricks. The blinking star can only be placed between studs so it's somewhat difficult to place near the poles. No problem though: just something to be aware of. For the rest it's spot on. I love it!
