PackMag S1 Magnetic Phone Mount for Straps

I havent taken it out to the field yet but the magnet is very strong. With the lanyard attached to my Iphone case if it does get knocked off by a tree branch or something it wont fall to the ground or in the water. My only concern is attachibg the ssipplied metal ring to the rear of my Gorilla case so that it will stick to the magnet. I thibk rbentuallybit will come off and need to be replaced. The phone itself grabs the magnet well and stays secure but then you cant use the lanyard because theres no where for it to clip into without the case. Someone should think of an asric outer ring which can be attached to the langard without having to use a plastic case.
