Elvia Utility Sheath Snag Hook

It is not proportioned or sized right. The plate does not sit flush with the flat part of the sheath. I had to carve it away from the raised portion of the sheath where the balde fits to get it to sit flush. More importantly the hook portion of the plate is so far up that it sits flush woth my finger when gripping the knife. If it was shorter or the holes were drilled higher it would have mucch better space to pocket snag. As it is its hit or miss. Frequently the sheath will not even stay in my pocket as I have to torque it so far out that it just flies out onto the floor. Hardly practical or discreet. I dont know if I will carve the hook portion down or drill new holes yet, but I will make it work. But I should not have to make ot work to this degree. Kept an extra star on the review because it is basically a good idea, but it needs a lot of refinement to be a quality product.

Easy to install and fit is perfect. Haven't done a "pocket draw" yet however works to allow an easy index finger "push off" of the sheath. Only 4 stars because I have not done a pocked draw yet

I debated what style of clip set up to use with the Elvis utility and then these guys released the snag hook. Love it for deep pocket concealment and easy deployment. Bravo!
