We bought one in April and it disappeared. We just recently bought two more and the mysterious disappearance of the first plant became clear. The pond snails were on the new utricularia within hours. We are now placing lettuce leaves on the pond surface to attract the snails. They prefer lettuce. We remove the leaves with snails attached a couple of times a day. The snails are reduced and our utricularia are growing unmolested.
