LIP was not properly covered and surface of the balm was cracked

Two issues upon opening the package: 1. The lid was already loose and opened without needing to twist it, so it was not properly closed/sealed. The surface of the balm/cream has a visible crack in the centre. So I'm not sure whether this affects the product's quality and if it is safe to use.
