Carves beautifully and is stable at high speeds but needs a bigger battery.
Coming from Lacroix Supersport I was concerned if Plutonium is gonna be good for carving and it carves effortlessly. Very smooth and quick acceleration and the board is stable all the time. Overall this is a good board. The only downside is a small battery. This downside is particularly annoying because of how good the board is in all other aspects. I'm 200lbs and carving at 30-35mph gives me only 25-30 miles range, basically just in one hour the board is completely discharged. What is the point of making an amazingly stable board at high speeds if you can only skate for an hour at half of the advertised top speed? Sometimes it feels like esk8 manufacturers forgot how it feels to have fun skating and instead fixated on "range in ideal conditions for underweight rider".

Think the board is too much? its not!
I used to eskate 6 years ago but had to let it go due to some injuries not related to skating. Now 6 years later I thought it was a bout time to get back on the horse again! After doing my research the Plutonium 2s was my choice! And boy do I not regret that! The customer service is out off this world, and so is the board! If you think this board is too much for you then I would like to tell you its not. You can ride this even as a total newbie due to the different modes you can select. This way you grow with the board, not out off it! I myself started in low performance mode on the first ride but quickly went to high performance due to the stability and confidence the board gives you. All in all 10/10!
