I came to Billy Shoes after trying to find the best shoe for an adult male who wears AFOs. I took a chance after owning several styles of Billy that I hoped would work. So far these shoes have done well, I am getting new AFOs in July and hope these will continue to hold up.

The fit is good. The only problem is with the zippers. They are very stiff and jam up in their tracks. Is there some way to lubricate them with wax? It seems like there isn't enough clearance on the side of the teeth to allow the zip to pass without rubbing. We thought about returning them, but they are still easier to put on and take off. But the user still can't complete the job independently.
