Practical cable

Almost perfect.

This cable is pretty outstanding. Construction and quality is a tier above things you can get from others like Anker. Braiding is tight yet flexible. Metal jacket in connectors polished, but durable. The adapters are high quality and easy to use. There is one annoying flaw however. The cable does not fit the usb c port of the Apple iPhone 17 cases. Not a huge issue, but something to call out for the future.

Versatile and worth the money

I finally picked up the Nomad Universal Cable V3 (1.5M) to trim down the mess of cords in my bag, and it’s honestly lived up to the hype. The built-in sliding adapters are super convenient—I can switch from fast-charging my laptop over USB-C to topping off older gear without digging around for extra dongles. The Kevlar braiding feels practically indestructible in hand, and the dark Carbide finish looks clean. The connector ends are a little bulky because of the attached adapters, but given that this single, rugged cable replaces three others in my pack, it’s easily become my favorite everyday carry upgrade.
