I was in on the ground floor of the Bay Area 3rd wave coffee movement. My 1st all-important morning cup is a single origin. Oh, this one does not disappoint! Like a lovely movement in a symphony, there is amazing balance here. Lovely on the nose and in the mouth.

Smooth and Silky

This Columbian is not one that is so mellow, the flavor gets masked easily. These beans brew into a bold yet smooth cup which retains all it flavor notes even with a bit of a “creamer.”

I've been using this in a fairly coarse grind in my 3 cup, and 6 cup chemex pour over setup, and am loving this bean for that purpose.
