*The Original* Cat Nail File Enrichment Box

I wanted to like this product so much and even went for the original despite the price being so insanely high. Another regretful cat purchase under my belt sadly. The design itself just doesn't work. The holes on the side have too high of a gap from the bottom, so my cats can't get treats through - it's too difficult for them, and these are highly food motivated cats too. I though maybe I could just remove a couple of the sides, but then treats get caught in the notches where the sides would slot in. All in all, they just won't touch it because they can't get treats out (and their treats are prescription, so I can't just get larger ones either - and they're not even that small). I am so bummed. My girl is impossible to trim, so I was really hoping this would help file her nails down naturally but it was a bust.

I don’t normally wrote reviews but this product is amazing! My cats are obsessed with it, it’s sturdy and doesnt move when they use it, and it has effectively filed their nails to where i no longer feel like a pin cushion when they kneed their buscuits. Totally recommend!

I have wanted to order this for over a year but kept waffling. Finally I accidentally purchased while dozing off, but I'm so happy that happened! I love the design, and my cat was immediately interested. She isn't very treat motivated, so that really speaks to how engaging the design is. It's sturdy, the feet keep it in place, there are lots of ways she can see and reach inside. I will follow up later to report on how much it helps keep claws filed. I'm just happy she likes it!
