Maybe needs more time

I’ve only been giving it for the past two weeks to my one year-old tuxedo cat who has a lot of energy and seems to like to pounce on my 12 year-old cat. Thus far, I’m not noticing that much of a change in his behavior it could be because it’s takes a little bit more time. I got the anti-stress drops for my other cat and basically the same thing. Maybe it takes a little bit more time for the drops to work.

No appreciable difference. Uppy is bored, clearly, because he yodels late at night and at 5 in the morning in this tiny, shrill, loud, falsetto that belies his size and age and is by and of itself severely disconcerting. He CANNOT be an outdoor cat because we have coyotes and mountain lions in the desert. He was simply built to be a brutus and even with three cat trees, a cat wheel, a cat condo, fiteen hanging bouncy toys and the ability to open the refrigerator, a recent development, and lick all of the fruit tubs and pull them out on the floor to play with, he continues to torment his balletic, airy peace loving Aby brother Xerxes and incite Momrage in his human hourly. He has taught himself to retrieve and we do have bonding and exhaustion-development sessions playing catch as well, but the yodeling and Xerxes-stalking persists. He clearly was just built to police an entire neighborhood, be stinky and gross, exercise targeted brutality, and eat things.

Peace has returned

So another stray showed up and decided to try to beat up my Oliver. I bottle fed him so I simply wasn't having him bullied by this interloper. I started Mortimer (male stray, unneutered) on this and by God it's working! He's calmer and seems to be relaxing and no hissing or songs of their people. My sanity has returned! Now if only I could get Mortimer in a crate he'd be neutered very soon. Thank you, thank you. From Oliver and his mom🌞
