Perfect for toasting Miles

I really like the thick glass and the solidly applied "Miles at 100" label. The label feels like it's ceramic or glass and has an inner white layer and outer black layer. I invented a Kind of Blue cocktail that I enjoy sipping from the glass - 2 1/2 oz Bourbon or rye whiskey, 1 oz Crème de Violette, 1/4 oz Cointreau mixed in the Miles at 100 glass with ice, finished with a spritz of Absinthe on top. I added the Cointreau because Miles did the soundtrack for one of my fave Film Noir - Elevator to the Gallows ("Ascenseur pour l'échafaud") from 1958. And the Absinthe adds a little bitterness, because nothing is too sweet when you're kind of blue.
