Ascension is beautiful

This is one of the best couple pieces of vinyl I’ve ever owned. Just talking about the physical object here. The 2 pieces of vinyl are substantial, nice and heavy. The surface of the records is like glass, no smudges, no fingerprint dust. The Jacket has a very subtle grain or texture, e-bike not obscuring the photo of train or the colored letters of the title. Just a very well executed reissuing of the seminal recording. What to say about the music? Seems tame by todays standards, and after all we’ve heard over the decades. But it is so well played and recorded it is really nice to listen to. Up until the time this record was released, it’s absolutely true, written in the liner notes, something like, “the most powerful sound made by humans “! Yup. ❤️. And the record was affordably priced, give the cost of new vinyl.
