Trouble Initiating Return

I want to initiate a return but when I reach out through the email I haven’t got a response. I try calling and all they tell me to do is email again. I feel like I’m being scammed so I can return it within the 30 days. I was only returning so I could get a different size but I no longer want to deal with the company. Very disappointed and frustrating.

Appears to be a quality item. Including hardware, except for the screws which are beefy but cheap iron (drill bit stripped them).
