It's the right amount of room for what I carry around and the hardware is substantial.

Broken

The hinge screws popped out on the first lid opening, Engineers need to rethink and beef up the hinges!!!!

Extremely well made. Beautiful plain cherry wood. Two interior compartments, one larger that holds my paper the other smaller that holds pens, pencils, erasers, etc. It sits perfectly on my lap with a stiifish but comfortable pillows. Hinges appear to be of good quality. I believe this item will last and I’m looking forward to a long partnership with it!
