I've done 2 manicures now with the Platinum Velvet gel. It takes a bit of practice to get the different looks portrayed in the video. I tried the diagonal line and the center circle, and I think I need more practice to get each nail consistent. I would like to see more tips--how to use over different shades? Is it best over dark shades? Do you recommend using velvet gel alone? If used alone, do you use the magnetic wand on each layer? Please give more information on this and the other Velvet colors.

I love that you keep releasing more gel colors, I try to own a few every time they come out. I love all Olive and June long lasting and gel polishes, I have completely traded getting my nails done by someone else for doing it myself! And it lasts just as long as going to get them done.

I like how it works and looks, but it damaged my nails.
