Both books are printed on high quality glossy paper. The engines pictured and described are industrial, many oil field engines, and much larger than my collection of farm use engines. While I have not read both books cover to cover yet, I have read many of the pictures and some of the descriptions. I am anxious to plan a trip to see these engines in action.

Great collection of important historical machinery

Something tremendously interesting is to see how the internal combustion engine developed. Valves, governors, lubrication -- such things were critical to performance and reliability. And, these engines served to develop that for use in automobiles soon afterward.

Looks good. Haven't had time to read yet.
