Evenheat Knife Oven - KH 418

Arrived very well packaged. It was super easy to set up and program. I first annealed some blades I needed to fix and it ran as expected. Second I annealed some old USA K&F and Nicholson files and it worked great. I then hardened a few other D2 blades I had prepared..and it worked great. Way more reliable and convenient than my other 2 kilns. I love it! My only complaint is that the clock keeps changing to 4 hours ahead of where I am. I change it and then notice it’s back to 4 hours off when I check later. It’s minor but makes me wonder about the quality of the more complex features of the controller. Great Kiln!!

The Kiln (Evenheat KH418) arrived in perfect condition. It arrived ahead of schedule. Yay! I have only run a few heat treat cycles so far. Everything works as expected. I love that this model operates on a standard 110 volt outlet, as the power in my shop is somewhat limited. The made in USA etching on the door lock mechanism, was upside down 🫤 but this was easily fixed. Other than that, I have zero complaints. I’m sure I’ll get many years of service, out of thi quality piece of equipment.
