The Eye Soot Brush

I’m sometimes skeptical about buying brushes from brands but when I saw the texture of the eye soots, I decided to give this one a chance because their formula is unique and doesn’t apply easily with any brush (at least not ones I tried). I did find dupes for this one on Amazon that I have as backup or for travel because this one is special haha. But I like the shape and size because it works well for applying shadow on my lid and under the lower lash line without being too thick. It’s definitely made for the eye soots. Not sure how well it works with the eye glosses because those aren’t my favorites (oily eyelids means they disappear quickly) but it might work?

I have a few of these so they are ready to use constantly. I a little collection of Eye Soot but also similar enough eyeshadows by others because they really work so well. The get into the pot and are able to distribute the formula really well. Even if I didn’t have nails that get in the way, the small brush beats fingertips, IMO.

The perfect brush

I use this brush for all my RdF eye soots and for smudging out eyeliner, I also use it to contour my eyes and have also used it to blur lip lines when doing a blotted lip look. It's versatile and doesn't breakdown fast like other brushes, it's truly my favorite brush in my collection. Would really love to see RdF make a brush for their foundation and concealer!
