We are so happy we didnt listen to people saying this isnt as good as the Mighty Hoop. We cant speak for the Might Hoops but these Maggie Frames are amazing and we have not had one issue. They are not cheap plastic! These are thick, heavy and sturdy as heck. People lie and say these are cheap plastic but thats so far from the truth. These are so well built they could hurt someone. The magnets are very strong and work so well when holding fabric. So happy, we bought another 5.1 x 5.1
