A fantastic resource for anyone hoping to perfect their pour-over technique, backed by the research, experimentation and knowledge of a World Barista Champion! This book (written in Japanese) makes great use of photography and graphs/graphics to clarify the complexities and challenges of coffee extraction. As someone who uses the 4:6 method often, this book provided a deeper analysis and explanation of all the factors involved, as well as the anecdotal process of how Tetsu-san developed the 4:6 method. It provides a wonderful and accessible education for the uninitiated and a deepening of knowledge for those who are already down the rabbit hole ;) Highly recommended if you have an intermediate Japanese reading level and a passion for coffee.
