Oransi AirMend 200HB Air Purifier

I bought it for a spare room in which my daughter was sleeping when she visited over the holidays. My daughter has a high level of allergies to pollens and dust, plus we have pets which attribute to her allergies. I asked her how she liked it and she said she believed it helped tremendously. The sound was quiet and she slept quite well with it on.

The Mod Jr. is the better option

Instead of the pleasant "white noise" sound produced by the Mod Jr, the sound made by the Airmend 200HB is intrusive. It sounds more like a noisy humidifier. If the box it came in had not been damaged, I would have returned it. The good news is that the Mod Jr. works very well and you can run it at a low level in a smaller room. I view it as the far better option.
