It's a nice machine, but there was a problem

When the machine arrived i was quite pleased the exterior of the box didn't have any noticable fragrance, neither did the exterior of the plastic that surrounded the machine. Then i opened the plastic to discover the machine had a fragrance. It smelled like some sort of aftershave. Worried, I set about cleaning the machine with alcohol, inside and out. The steel came clean just fine. Just disappointed that s machine built specifically for someone with fragrance issues was put together by some smelly dude wearing fragrance. Additionally the power cord has a significant plastic odor. I know that higher quality cords are out there without that kind of plastic smell, wish they had been used here. I quite like the compact design, it's pleasantly quiet on low, and very effective, especially now that fire season has started and the air will be smokey for the next three months. I like putting it on high because the extra noise helps drown out my tinnitus.
