Router template too fragile to use

I bought the state of Texas router template about two weeks ago and used it today for the first time win, removing it from my cutting board. The side next to left side of it broke and I was making sure to be gentle removing it from my board. Looking at it you think it is stronger than it appears, but it is actually very fragile. I think I wasted my money because now even after trying to ca glue this, it is not working so now it is a waste of money because it’s unusable.
