Easy to Damage Due to Design

We've installed these doorknobs throughout the house. We've had them for over a year. They're hefty and beautiful, but they are hard to turn (not suitable for children or the elderly). As well, the screw that holds them in place is behind the handle, so the doorknobs are difficult to install. One particular doorknob became loose and the original screw was too short, so we had to put in a new, longer screw. But because the screw is behind the handle, we pretty much destroyed the handle to fix the doorknob in place. Please see pictures for example. I wish the doorknobs came with an Allen key to help with install. I would not buy again.
