Solid piece of gear

These things drastically beef up the stock tie rod. I have a 2018 Colorado v6 crew cab z71 and upgraded the front end with baja kit upper control arms and king shocks. Realized the tie rod was a week point so purchase the level up tie rod ends and tie rod sleeves. They look great and work great. Install took about an hour. They leave just enough of the oem tie rod exposed (1 in to 1.5 inches) as a break point so you don’t destroy your steering rack if you do end up bend/breaking the tie rod. Solid buy. Just ripped the truck in ocotillo at about 70 mph over some pretty rugged desert and everything held up great. Didn’t even need an alignment after two days in the desert of fast runs, burn outs, drifts, donuts, small whoops and crawling runs where I was fully flexed and bumping over divots and boulders pretty good. Highly recommend.
