SoundBomb™ Split Dual-Tone Air Horn

I've used a soundbomb on my R1200 for several years. Recently the relay failed which resulted in continuous operation and subsequent burnout of the compressor motor before the fuse cut off the power. I'd really needed a new compressor, but this was not offered. The worst part of the experience was having to pay UPS $57 in fees. It is better to use USPS when shipping to Canada, but you do not offer this. The horn itself is excellent, and perfect for my needs.

I had this horn on previous bikes and made my own mounting brackets, so this time I ordered the horn with the included brackets. Installation was straightforward, but I do have some concerns about the hardware. The compressor bracket is secured by a single bolt that is longer and lighter than the factory bolt. It also uses an Allen head instead of the stock Torx bolt. I installed it with blue Loctite and hope that will be enough to keep the compressor securely in place over time. The horn itself mounts with two bolts, but they also seem light-duty and use Allen heads. Overall, the horn works well, but I would have preferred stronger, higher-quality mounting hardware for long-term durability.
