Awesome Piece of Kit!

I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this but for the price thought I’d give it a chance. I am a fairly advanced astrophotographer now but my C6 has such a long focal length and travel I didn’t find using an EAF practical. Enter this device. Well, I can only state this is a superb focus tool and has the added benefit of being able to be used to easily collimate your SCT. Frankly, I can’t think of better bang for buck.

C14 tri-Bahtinov mask

The mask was purchased as a quick way of collimating my C14 with the Hyperstar system installed. The mask comes in 6 sections which snap together. The mask supposedly fits around the Hyperstar lens assembly, but is just a bit too tight on the version I have. It still works, but is a pain to remove without removing the camera once collimation is finished. My Hyperstar is an early version, so this may not be the case with more recent ones. All in all, it does what it should and indeed is an easier and faster collimation method than setting up a laser collimation system
