Good views, well built
Though I’ve only been able to take this dob out a few times due to weather and time constraints, it’s been a great experience so far. The Flextube is much easier to maneuver in and out of the house and much easier to fit in my vehicle as well. Everything seems well built and it was easy to collimate. The included eyepieces seem good, though I don’t have much to compare them to as a beginner. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the secondary mirror had thumbscrews already installed so no tools required for collimation. Not sure if this is a recent unadvertised upgrade or I just got lucky somehow. It is a bit front-heavy when fully extended so you do have to tighten the tension handle quite a bit when pointing at objects low in the sky. I might look into adding some counter weights on the back. Overall I’m happy with this scope.

Sky-Watcher Flextube 250P 10" Collapsible Telescope
The Sky-Watcher Flextube 250P telescope deffinetlty saves me space when I transport it, my 8" 200 classic would take up the length of the backseat of my truck with the base in the front seat...now everything fits in the back seat. The operation is very smooth ...collimation is such a breeze compared to my old telescope main mirror can be adjusted by hand ... I do find that it is a bit more awkward to carry due to its compactness and is a few pounds heavier...but overall such a great improvement over my full tube 8" dobsonian.

Ventured Into A Dobsonian
Recently purchased a non go to telescope from All Star telescope. The Skywatcher was the one that caught my eye with the flex tube design, as I hope to travel the camping season with it. My first few times with the scope I realized how easy to collimate and set up as opposed to my previous telescopes. I know I will need to invest in better eyepieces and will be knocking on Allstars door soon. Visualsed Saturn as my first task which proved how a Dobsonian has piqued many observers interests. Thank you Allstar, Cheers, Ernie Gaudet
