Not for me

I have been using the heavy wool socks that Kuiu made for years. They were one of the best heavy weight socks I have used which include Patagonia, Dachstein, Darn Tough, etc. The old Kuiu heavyweight socks were discontinued 1/1/26 so i tried these. If I would have known they were changing them I would have bought a dozen pair of the old ones which would have lasted me the rest of my life. These new socks are thick in all the wrong places and thin where socks wear out The elasticity is not as good as the previous model so they are harder to put on. The toes bunch up when not in my boots. I have spent 50 years in the outdoor industry, and have fitted thousands of boots for skiing, hiking, hunting, etc. Correct socks are key to a great fit in any footwear. These socks don’t work for me at all, if I hadn’t thrown away the packaging I’d return them.

Good work sock but. . .

They seem to creep down, I wear a size 13 boot and ordered XL, next time will order a large to see if that remedies the issue. Besides that, great work sock
