Wild Yellowtail Fillets In Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I normally prefer mackrel but they were out of stock so I decided to try yellowtail. It is less fishy and more subtle compared to mackrel and a yummy protein snack.

Wild Yellowtail fillets

Good sized chunks of fillet mixed with smaller pieces. Taste is flavorful and mild, not fishy at all. The olive oil the fish is packed in seems high quality and tastes good too. Together with some black bread like pumpernickel to soak up the oil, it makes a great lunch. Also works on a salad.

Tasty

These have become a staple in my pantry. Tasty, tender and light. I like to drain the oil and whip in avocado mayo and capers. The perfect protein snack.
