Our two once unruly doodles are finally beginning to behave better on the walks. They previously used harnesses but it is very clear that they are much happier with the Sprenger prong collars. They respond more consistently and it is in no way painful or uncomfortable to them. I highly recommend using these collars. They are very handsome and very sturdy and well made.

Recommended for a reason. I recommend too.

Got a cane corso,105lbs/47.6kg. Sprenger name came up so many times in searches and from people I personally know, who used a prong collar. Despite the recommend size on the website by dog size/weight, went with a 2.25mm prong and a few extra links. Our dog is not overly aggressive when on or off leash but can get a sudden spike of "I NEED TO CHASE THIS RIGHT NOW" I felt the 3.5mm prong was too big when I tried a different collar from a store. This 2.25mm. It works extremely well and it give the corrective feed I want when needing to use it. The quick release is great, and is simple. Highly recommend. How ever, size recommendation, I would get a second opinion and be honest about what kind of dog you have and their behaviors.
