Prong collar

I really like the clasp and how secure it is. I also bought the safety extender making sure if the prong ever opened on its own, it was attached to his harness so he can’t run off after whatever dog he is reacting to at the time. He quickly learned that his reactivity would earn him a tug on the prong which doesn’t feel great. As I am a senior and he is a 4 yo 60lb dog, it gives me better control of him rather than letting him drag me everywhere.

Recommended for a reason. I recommend too.

Got a cane corso,105lbs/47.6kg. Sprenger name came up so many times in searches and from people I personally know, who used a prong collar. Despite the recommend size on the website by dog size/weight, went with a 2.25mm prong and a few extra links. Our dog is not overly aggressive when on or off leash but can get a sudden spike of "I NEED TO CHASE THIS RIGHT NOW" I felt the 3.5mm prong was too big when I tried a different collar from a store. This 2.25mm. It works extremely well and it give the corrective feed I want when needing to use it. The quick release is great, and is simple. Highly recommend. How ever, size recommendation, I would get a second opinion and be honest about what kind of dog you have and their behaviors.
