Celtic Cross Blanket Pattern

The blanket is absolutely gorgeous. However, I'm not anywhere near a beginner, I've been crocheting for over 40 years, and I had a really tough time getting the counts right once the pattern started. Diagrams for the first couple of rows would have been really helpful.

Some cable experience is helpful

I love this pattern but was not experienced with cable crochet. Unfortunately the pattern did not include any helpful pictures which would have been great on how to make the twists. A few YouTube videos kind of helped but it would have been nice to have something in the pattern. Other than that the pattern worked up very nicely and was fairly easy to follow once you figured it out.
