Bought for winter hiking trips

I bought these because I have plans to do more winter hiking and my current boots are better suited for summer. So far these have kept my feet very warm. They run slightly large and wide than my keen summer boots. My inserts and thick socks seem to help take up the space enough that its not an issue. I will say the insoles the boots come with might as well be just filler (thin and no support) so you will need to replace with a more substantial insole.

I have a pair of Keen hiking boots that I’ve grown to love (took some time to break them in), so I thought I’d try this Keen winter boot. They are very supportive and have been keeping my feet a lot warmer than a pair of old Sorel’s I parted with. This is a sturdy, well made boot. I went up a half size from my hiking boot (which are a bit snug) and the fit is perfect.
