Another Cécile Zarokian Masterpiece for Amouage!

Amouage Silver Oud is an absolute masterpiece! Cécile Zarokian as always creates an iconic and unique story telling fragrance that truly smells magical! The opening is a wonderful blast of patchouli! It’s quite animalistic as well w Castoreum and Oud Assam blending the entire fragrance with a beautiful Madagascar Vanilla Absolute that softens it and makes the scent cohesive and perfectly blended! It’s a beautiful and unique fragrance for men and women. I can see anyone who has the confidence to wear this perfume would smell amazing and get plenty of compliments from both men and women, as I have. It’s my 2nd favorite Amouage fragrance after King Blue. I know some will not like the real Oud in this or any fragrance that uses authentic real Oud because they have not smelled the real thing and are only used to synthetic Oud fragrance accords. This is a masterpiece and deserves all the praise it receives!

Luxurious, smokey, opulent, animalic oud with warm and vanillic undertones. Incredible.

Give it a chance

By far one of Amouage’s most polarizing scents but perhaps one of its most masterful. The opening is WEIRD - the reviews that say it’s “vile” “disgusting” I think are a bit dramatic, but it didn’t smell “pleasant” in a traditional sense- it’s very birchy and tar like. I would recommend spraying and walking right out the door - but the dry down? Exquisite it has a vanilla like incense dry down with a animalic undertone… really beautiful, wore it to work today and got complimented (it does project) very long lasting I applied it at 7am and could still smell it at 7pm. I blind bought out of curiosity but it might not be a blind buy for others.
