First and last purchase

The T shirt came - there was a sticker over the heart that obviously has been removed but left a white outline. I contacted customer service and they said to return it. Why do I have to go through that trouble? I submitted pictures and they agreed, the quality was not good. But for me to take the time to now figure out the entire process to return and deal with that isn’t great for my first purchase. I just won’t purchase again. I bought because the price was better here than anywhere else and now I know that’s for a reason. Clearly these are clothes that are returns or have issues. Never again.
