So comfortable and the length is perfect. Slouchy, generous fit. I'm 5'5" and 125lb and I ordered a 27. Could have probably gone a size smaller, but I like the loose fit.

To big or too small

I’m usually a size 29 in AG bottoms, and occasionally a 28. I own several pairs of AG jeans in size 29, and they generally fit well — sometimes even a bit roomy after a few hours of wear. In these shorts, however, the size 29 felt more fitted than I’m comfortable with, especially since I would plan to dry them in the dryer. I tried the size 30 as well, but that size was much too large, even accounting for possible shrinkage. It’s disappointing because these are really great shorts. The length is perfect, and the style is very flattering. I do wish they had just a bit more stretch for added comfort and that the waist waist a little lower. Of the two washes, I preferred the lighter ex-boyfriend style. I ended up purchasing and returning both colors. For reference, I’m 5’4” and 136 lbs.

These shorts do not disappoint. I ordered 1 size up for a slouchy, boyfriend fit. I can use a belt for a less slouchy fit. The denim is soft & worn in. The length is great too. I am older & I appreciate the longer look. These shorts will look cute w a button down, white blazer & cute flats or maybe just a fun t-shirt & gym shoes.
