'Godzilla' Giant Japanese Painted Fern (Athyrium)

They looked wilted when they got here. I watered them, put them in garage 1 day and planted them the next day. They completely wilted. I am not sure what I did wrong!!

I am worried about my fern

The hostas I ordered are doing great but I am concerned that this fern is not going to survive. I have many other established types of ferns and they continue to be green in the mild Fall we have had so far. This fern has already disappeared into the ground. Please reassure me 😬

Plants arrived in good shape. Nice size. Seems to be doing well 2 weeks later. Price was 1/2 of other websites.
