I have only had a little time with the comparator mirror. It's an interesting way to compare what's on the canvas vs the image. It provides a nice way to make the comparison. That's what it is all about.

quite outstanding.Major technological breakthrough.It's interesting to note that the technology to build a comparator mirror must have existed about 1000 years ago but noone really thought about it.It is really quite ingenious.
