NeoLucida XL: a See-Through Camera Lucida

Nice idea but it just doesn't work.

The NeoLucida XL is well made but the mirror image clarity is VERY poor. "Tracing" the outline of the image is nearly impossible as it barely shows up on the page. Perhaps this was user error but there is no way to know for sure since "best practice" documentation and supporting videos essentially don't exist. Maybe if there were better "how-to" documentation and videos, the product would be useful but everything that I found is nothing more than marketing information making a promise that fails to deliver. I'd return my unit but I believe I am outside the return window.

Great tool for artists!

I got this for my daughter and she absolutely loved it. She had never used one and within 5 minutes she was up and running with it. Very cool tool for anyone who’s into drawing and sketching.
