Loving the series…good solid reads!

I'm loving reading Harry's recollections of his previous cases. All three of these stories are brilliant - as usual. The first, the Lolita Conspiracy, was the first where I actually had a feeling who the culprit was quite soon after he appeared - what a horrible case. But great reading of course! The Last Straw had some very sad moments, but was a brilliant story with the usual intricate plot. In One Dark night, I loved Harry's Hercule Poirot moment - and the killer was a surprise to me! The moment when Harry threw his badge on Chief Johnston's desk shouldn't have been a surprise. Expecting a "Well Done" only to be told that he made him - the Chief and the development look bad!
