FairyBaby 40" Extra Tall Auto Close Big Dog Gate

Our big girl is a sweet German Shepherd who can open the gate herself if it is not fully latched, but respects the boundary when it is closed. It separates the kitchen and family area from the front door so that visitors can come in and warm up to her before she enthusiastically greets them. Occasionally she stays on the other side while we cook her favorite foods. Other than some minor issues getting it to stay wide open, we are happy with the gate.

The gate arrived with a broken bottom latch. The broken piece was loose in the box. I contacted the help email, but received no response. Additionally, the metal channels used to stabilize the gate and expansion sections in a straight configuration are not deep enough to fit the bottom of the main gate section. They seem to be sized to stabilize two expansion pieces together. The gate still works okay with some jury rigging for stabilization. My dogs are not aggressive pushers and have not pushed the gate loose. I would still recommend the gate, as a new latch piece could easily be attached and the overall size and quality were very good for our application.

It was easy to install. Also, it's super secure & operates flawlessly. I can rest easy knowing my buddy, Harlee, is healthy & safe being outside. 😊
