Item ok but came direct from China and long wait

I had ordered at the start of December assuming these would arrive for Christmas. They arrived 27th December. It wasn’t clear when I ordered that the product wasn’t held in stock but would be made and coming directly from China. If this was made clear I wouldn’t have ordered it. Whilst the person seems happy with the item, I’m not sure it was worth the cost or the waiting time and I had wanted this to arrive for Christmas. I think these these should be held in stock in UK or make it clear what the process will be before purchasing.
