I bought the original one about 25 years ago. I recently gave it to my husband since he often parks outside. So, this is my second one! There are minute design changes, such as the overall length, the lock and its orientation, and the pedal to step on when locking it, but it’s functionally the same. These changes make it ever slightly harder to use, but considering I was using the original model for 20+ years, I’m sure I can adapt. The only flaw I’ve noticed is that it can slip if not placed at a particular angle, which then doesn’t lock the brake. I’ve had to fumble around for several minutes to get it right. Other than that, I’m happy knowing that my car is safer with this on.
