CarLink Phone App Add On Module Extended Range Upgrade

The CL7 module has very poor range. Even in areas of full cellular service, it shows weak signal. I have a CL6 module on my 4Runner that has worked flawlessly for 4 years. Hipefully it us just this unit and it can be replaced or switched to a CL6 module under warranty.

Right Remote Start For Me

The remote start setup addition with phone app add on is just what i have been looking for. The installation was simple but the instructions were not too clear. Love the plug and play setup. There was no need to slice into vehicle wires because the system came with connector that plugs into existing components. Cannot wait until the CL7 app is developed for the Apple watch. So far, I am very impressed with system.

I should’ve bought it in the first place

So convenient. I should’ve just got the cell phone apps when I ordered the remote starter kit. It’s not even that much money. I thought it was a lot of money at first, but in the grand scheme of things it’s so easy to install and so worth it, especially with the first you’re being free.
