Prefect Fit

Perfect fit and finish. Much better view than the license plate mounted backup camera I replaced. I just had this installed 2 days ago, so I cannot comment on its reliability and longevity.

2011 Tundra solution

The tailgate camera was a perfect solution to not being able to see behind when backing up. The installation was (for the most part) straight forward as the provided harness hook directly into the existing factory installed wiring at the rear bumper (the other end was located in the ceiling console). Tailgatecamera provided a video wire harness which connected from the console to where my future radio/camera display would be. The challenge was connecting the video cable to the radio/display unit. Their wiring labels were not labeled the same. Luckily TailGateCamera stepped up and solved the problem. Bottomline: Awesome camera/picture
