The installation was straight forward. It does take a little while to start bit starts every time.

Received in a short time and pre customer support excellent. Relatively easy install with the video instructions. The hardest part was disconnecting the controller on the passenger side, as it is awkward to get to and pressing the unlock plastic clip is hard to access/see when trying to un-clip/pullout the connector from the car controller box. Post customer support was good, although one of my query's: according to paper manual - if power to battery is disconnected (Several reasons power may get disconnected during service such as changing the battery, electrical work, etc.) may cause function problems with remote starter, didn't have a solution - just to contact support. So I contacted support about this prior and didn't have a clear response. I just wanted to know a head of time, what to do if this becomes an issue. The response I received was to "So you need to reinstall the product" which I hope means that I can probably just remove the power to the remote controller box, then reconnect... ... rather than disconnecting ALL component connections, then reconnecting All connections back to original wiring, then reconnecting All the remote starter components again, for it to work. What would be nice is if you could also turn on the heated seats... I was hoping the two extra loose orange and brown wires, off the remote controller box could be used to initiate this during start-up, but apparently not according to support. In short though very happy with the remote as it works with my own key fob, keep car locked when leaving the car, keeps car locked while remote starting, turns off after remote start in 15 min, and is a seamless integration with the car's electronics.
